8:00 PM to 9:30 PM

Come on down to the the longest running Cajun/Zydeco dance in the bay area at the historic Eagle's Hall in Alameda.

This is the most steady and Big Fun Friday night event around. For about 12 years, folks have been getting their ya-yas out with Zydeco at The Eagle's Hall.

Join us for a FREE DANCE LESSON with Dana DeSimone at 8:00 with the band starting at 9:00.

Price varies, usually around $15.

There is always something happening on Friday night so even if you don't know who is playing come on down and pass some time with several hundred other dancers.

To check on which band is playing, go to www.sfbayou.com for Ellen's indispensible calendar or call 415-285-6285. See you on the dance floor.

Feufollet!!!!

A ragin good Cajun band at the Eagles in Alameda
9:00 PM to 1:00 AM

We first saw these kids in Lafayette La. at the Festivals Acadiens in 1999. They were in their early teens and had been studying Cajun music and language in a Cajun French immersion program.

At the time we thought they were one of the best bands at the festival on a number of levels.

They came to Alameda earlier this year and they were simply wonderful!!!

If you like hard rocking Cajun music that makes you want to dance this show is not to be missed!!!!

If you want a free lesson come at 8:00, music starts at 9:00...

See you there, allons danser!

Cooksey and Alison
